SMS Recording utilizes the latest in digital recording technology. Our studio offers you a warm and comfortable atmosphere which includes a control room, tracking room, vocal room, drum booth with vintage drums, utility sound booths and a private lounge.
From the smallest to the largest of recording projects, SMS Recording offers full tracking sessions with some of the best musicians and singers in Nashville, to smaller projects where we will build your track utilizing instrumentation via sampling of keyboards, drums, guitars, bass, etc. We also offer online services that can provide you with the "Nashville Sound" to any recording studio or project in the world.

Mike Schrimpf has worked with some of the most popular recording artists of all time, including Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Steve Wariner and Ronnie McDowell to name a few. In addition to being a professional musician (keyboards & harmonica), Mike is also a producer, arranger, songwriter, and recording engineer with many years of experience. Mike is fast, efficient and creative. Having worked with some of the most prominent grammy award winning musicians and recording artists in Nashville, Mike will bring his overwhelming experience and expertise to your next recording project.
Mike's wife Netha is a professional recording artist, singer/songwriter as well as a much sought after lead and background vocalist in the Nashville recording community. Netha has appeared on many live showcases, national and worldwide television shows, and opened live shows for Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, John Conlee & Vern Gosdin and sang background vocals for some of the biggest names in the music business including Phil Stacey, Point of Grace, T. Graham Brown, Colin Ray, Lee Greenwood, & Christy Lane.
